Future Food Institute is a global leading no profit organization for food innovation that realized the biggest world tour around technology within the food chain: 60 days, 16 researchers from 10 different countries and 12 institutional food tech hubs while meeting hundreds of food heroes.The 2-months trip around Amsterdam and Wageningen, Brussels, Madrid, Valencia, Berlin, Toronto, New York, San Francisco, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Mumbai and Bangkok focused on 4 main topics: sustainability and circular economy, the future of proteins, agricultural innovation in increasingly “smart” rural and urban contexts and the future of food service. Dr. Laricchia will present what they discovered and the results of the mission.
